Orbid is an improvisational band from western Maine that blends funk, experimental, and psychedelic rock with an electronic edge. The group focuses on continuous, long-form jams rather than structured songs. They perform without a setlist, relying entirely on spontaneous, in-the-moment communication. Because the music is fully improvised, no two shows are alike. They invite the audience to leave behind the familiar and join them on a path that is as much about the destination as it is about the journey.
